My Personal Learning Environment (PLE)
My working place at home.
Here you can see my desk at home with all the important things I need in order to manage the work for university. This work can consist of writing term papers or essays, to upload and edit pictures or simply to read texts and books.
To be able to work efficiently I need enough space to spread my documents and papers that is why my work desk is considerably empty. Everything I need is within reach either on the desk or underneath it, like the printer, more sheets of paper or a small note pad for ideas in between. On the desk is a lamp because it is of huge importance to have enough light while working whereas the plant is rather for sedation when the eyes turn weary. In my point of view having a comfortable atmosphere is crucial to work creative. This also requires a good and comfortable chair as you can see in the pictures.
Current work is in the stacking on the left while the older stuff to look something up again is in the rack together with more pencils, books, folders and so on. Plus, there is enough storage room for more folders in the rack next to the table on the right. Above my desk is a big pin board for important notes and dates. My computer is in the middle of the table as this is what I work with the most. I created this website with it and most of the work for university needs to be typed and saved so it is essential to have a computer in the PLE.
